An Atlas Copco air end is the core part of a screw air compressor. It compresses air using two high-precision rotors and directly determines the compressor’s output and reliability.

The air end is the main compression module in a rotary screw air compressor. It contains a pair of helical rotors—male and female—that rotate inside a precision-machined casing. As the rotors spin, air is pulled in, compressed by decreasing volume between the rotors, and then discharged under pressure.
